Turning one :)

One-year-olds are so cute :). When I arrived he was already peaking through the window with a smile on his face :).

It's getting lighter and with the amount of snow we have now it nicely reflects some light indoors as well. I took out my 50mm f1.4 and shot wide open, with a little help of a flash. I think I've said this before but with children I just love the little bit of a dreamy look it gives.

Just turned one I Lapsikuvaaja Helsinki

Just turned one :). After the outdoor session that I shared earlier we came inside to get a portrait of this little one. It is getting a bit cool outside so outdoors we go if the weather permits it. Otherwise inside. Either one is ok by me :).

I spent yesterday learning to navigate Tumblr where we'll put up my new blog. So still using this old blog but in the near future I will change to my new one called Blue Bellybutton (can be found on facebook at facebook.com/bluebellybutton. So you can already like it and the facebook group I have will disappear and not be used anymore. So a big thank you to my designer Pedro Reis (from Silo) who is not just making a new website for me but more teaching me how the whole process should work. And slowly I have learned new stuff and changed the way I do things for the better. So stuff is happening behind the scenes and as soon as the new blog/website is ready I will let you know :).

Getting better --- Paranemassa

We have had a week of staying inside and trying to get better :). My little one is finally back to her normal self -- she was even happy to pose for mum a little bit.

Meillä on ollut viikko sisällä oloa ja flunssaa - mutta vihdoin pikkuiseni alkaa toipua! Ja on melkein oma ihana itsensä jo, jaksoi jopa poseerata äidille hieman :)

Sometimes finnish people forget how beautiful winter is. They think it'll be dark, gloomy, depressing -- and look at this! What a gorgeous afternoon & beautiful light. No reason for not taking photos outside on a winter day. Put your beanie and scarf on and enjoy all the seasons!

Joskus suomalaiset unohtavat kuinka kaunis talvi on. Että syksy ja talvi olisivat pimeitä, masentavia, harmaita -- ja katso näitä kuvia! Miten ihana iltapäivä ja kaunis valo. Ei mitään syytä olla kuvaamatta ulkona talvella. Laita pipo päähän ja kaulahuivi kaulaan ja nauti kaikista vuodenajoista :).

Nämä tytöt olivat niin hauskaa kuvausseuraa! Pieni esikatselu äidille...
