Day before Christmas eve

In Peniche again. After a little bit of cleaning for Christmas we headed out to Peniche - to have lunch and also to get Pedro in the water :). The sun came out just when we packed the car and left. The beach was windy but not too cold. Loved it.

Christmas opening at Itäkeskus shopping centre - a few photos to share :).

I'm Portugal at the moment - and it's beautiful! I love the sun :). We have started work with Pedro Reis to get my new website etc. done and tomorrow I will be with Erik Reis at his studio. Today we had a fun trip to Lissabon and I had my camera with me so will share some pics later. Now I think I'm too tired to write anything that makes any kind of sense so I should just put my alarm on so that I'll wake up in the morning when Erik comes to get me :).

Christmas stock part 2 I Valokuvaaja Helsinki

Today's project - editing sort of Christmas photos. I still haven't opened my bag of Christmas baubles - I think I'm trying to avoid that and think of everything else to photograph :). On Monday it was time for mulled wine, gingerbread cookies and hot chocolate. And photograph using my favourite light at the moment -- natural light. My table against the window, with the see-through curtain in front of it, photographing almost in backlight. Love it. I will get my flashes out soon for the baubles but first I have to edit these I think :). Maybe next week :).

Christmas stock and Portugal! I Valokuvaaja Helsinki

Christmas is coming - you know how I know that? Because it means I'm already late at photographing Christmas baubles for stock :). Should have started in July. But I've started with something - candles :). 

Also I have exciting plans for December and January - I'm going to Portugal for 6 weeks (for work - and also fun), so I will be away from 30th of November till 14th of January. After that back to work here in Helsinki. I will tell you more later and I will update my blog from there as well. So keep reading :). Hopefully I will come back a lot wiser and better photographer.

But for now - book your session times in good time with that in mind - I'm now booking October and November (and still 2 session times left for September!).
