Slush11 I Photographer Helsinki

A completely new world to me -- but an interesting 2 days at Kaapelitehdas at Slush Helsinki with Pedro & Jyri. Probably didn't understand half of what anyone was saying but still enjoyed it :). And good food and wine (Portuguese :) ). Here's a few photos from there.

Silo 3x11, Our Day On Earth I Valokuvaaja Helsinki

 Have you ever heard of the One Day on Earth project? Where people around the world document the day of 11.11.11 (last year it was 10.10.10) and then all the material will be made into one film?

On that day, for 24 hours as well, my designer Pedro Reis and my husband Jyri Manninen are organising an event (and documenting it and sending it to One Day on Earth) -- check out www.silo.is/coming/ and www.facebook.com/silo.is and read more about it! It will be live online but also at Hub Helsinki in person. I will also be there photographing (maybe not quite for 24 hours straight :) ) so I will share more about then!

I had a chance to photograph this fun event in Kuopio last weekend - 200 pomppua päivässä (200 jumps a day) by Danonino & Kids Factory Events. An energetic morning for kids with Tuuli Matinsalo, a competitive aerobics champion.

Sain olla mukana kuvaamassa tätä hauskaa tapahtumaa Kuopiossa viime viikonloppuna - Danonino-tapahtuma 200 pomppua päivässä, järjestäjänä Kids Factory Events. Lasten kanssa mukana pomppimassa myös kilpa-aerobicin maailmanmestari Tuuli Matinsalo!

Birthday party!!

I also photograph birthday parties (which is quite fun by the way) - if you need a photographer for your child's birthday party, contact me :) To have someone else taking the photos means you can concentrate on being the host and enjoying what is actually happening. I will come for 2 hrs and you'll get the images on a cd (plus an online gallery for 2 weeks).

This little boy turned 3 on the weekend. Guess what was his favourite present :)
